Amanda Inez Hernandez
Amanda Inez Hernandez is a criminal defense attorney at Flanary Law Firm in San Antonio TX.
As a South Texas native, Amanda grew up in a small town south of Corpus Christi. Amanda attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with a concentration in International Relations. After college, she worked for a solo practitioner as a legal assistant for a year before going on to attend St. Mary’s University School of Law here in San Antonio.
During her time at St. Mary’s, she was accepted onto the External Advocacy Mock Trial Team, which prepares students to compete against other teams in regional and national competitions in simulated lower-court trials. Amanda competed in various cities and states including Houston, New Orleans, and Atlanta. She also competed in the St. Mary’s Renna and Jeff Embry Mock Trial Competition during her last year of law school, where she advanced to the final round and was named Best Speaker Overall.
Also during law school, Amanda worked for the nationally renowned law firm of Goldstein, Goldstein & Hilley, in a wide variety of criminal defense cases both at the state and federal level.
Amanda has been recently licensed to practice law in Texas and is currently a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the San Antonio Bar Association.
